Recipe
Our aim is to make it easy, fast, safe and joyful to make a gingerbread house. Nothing beats homemade, so we suggest the following recipe:
Ingredients:
650g/22 oz p flour
450g/15 oz butter (use the real stuff, it's Christmas)
3 dl/10 fl oz syrup
500g/16 oz sugar
6 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon cardamon
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cloves
Procedure:
Melt butter with syrup, add sugar and mix it together. Mix spices with about 2/3 of the flour. Mix wet and dry. Knead the dough, adding most of the remaining flour to make it a nice thick dough. Let the dough cool for a few hours before you start. Best of luck and we wish you a Merry Christmas!
